Tara Potter is an Executive Director of Recruitment at Green Key Pharma. She joined the team in 2015 and has over a decade of experience recruiting talent for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
We asked Potter to share a bit about her recruiting journey, working at Green Key, and the pharma job search.
What inspired you to pursue a career in recruitment?
Out of college, I needed a job and didn’t know exactly what I wanted to do. So, I interviewed with a temp agency and they ended up hiring me to work in their office checking references, screening candidates, etc. It was thrilling to see candidates get so excited for a job offer. I fell in love with the idea that helping someone find a job is helping them change their life.
What sets Green Key apart from other recruiting firms?
Trust. Green Key gives their recruiters all the tools to succeed while letting us run our own day and book of business. This management approach allows each recruiter to play to their own strengths and develop meaningful relationships with candidates and clients. It’s the reason why we’re so great at what we do.
