Overview
- Lead conceptual estimating efforts for commercial building projects, ensuring accurate and comprehensive project take-offs and cost evaluations.
- Collaborate with administrative support to prepare ITBs and bid packages for negotiated projects.
- Utilize Sage software to compile and finalize estimates, ensuring precision and completeness.
- Contribute to project buyouts, leveraging leveling sheets for effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform complete project take-offs, ensuring all aspects are accounted for in the estimates.
- Prepare detailed leveling sheets to facilitate accurate cost comparisons and buyouts.
- Collaborate with administrative staff to distribute ITBs and bid packages efficiently.
- Utilize Sage software for compiling, reviewing, and finalizing project estimates.
- Engage in negotiated project processes, ensuring alignment with client expectations and requirements.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of commercial building project requirements and industry standards.
- Contribute to the development of estimating processes and tools for continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in conceptual estimating; 15 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Sage software or willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong expertise in preparing leveling sheets and performing complete project take-offs.
- Experience in commercial building projects and negotiated project processes.
