Overview

  • Lead accounting and financial reporting initiatives for a dynamic collectibles division.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and compliance.
  • Utilize AI and analytics tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in reporting.
  • Develop scalable solutions to transform the finance function and empower decision-makers.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
  • Support technical accounting research and provide guidance on complex transactions.
  • Contribute to organizational growth by fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and manage financial analyses and special projects for executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Automate accounting processes using AI and analytics tools for enhanced efficiency.
  • Streamline reporting workflows and improve financial data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial summaries and analyses.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, including systems implementations and policy development.
  • Conduct technical accounting research and document transactional memos.
  • Enhance product-level profitability analysis through collaboration with various departments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and implement key controls for scalability.
  • Manage and develop efficient audit processes and relationships with audit functions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of accounting experience, including public and private sectors.
  • Proficiency in US GAAP, internal controls, and technical accounting research.
  • Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Alteryx.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically Oracle Fusion, and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in inventory and intercompany accounting preferred.
