Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage monthly financial processes, including cash monitoring, reconciliations, and reporting for residential properties.
  • Prepare detailed financial packages for stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
  • Oversee depreciation schedules, tax calculations, and invoice audits to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to deliver high-quality financial insights.
  • Ensure adherence to GAAP and full-cycle accounting standards, leveraging industry expertise.
  • Support development projects with accurate financial records and journal entries.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within financial operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; candidates with other degrees will not be considered.
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience required; 5–7 years preferred, ideally in real estate or property management accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook essential; familiarity with Yardi or MRI systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes, with high attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment, demonstrating confidence and solution-oriented thinking.
