Job Description

Overview

  • Assist the Program Director in managing an Article 31 clinic program, ensuring compliance with OMH and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide direct social work services, including crisis intervention, individual, family, and group counseling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop psychosocial evaluations and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Ensure clinical supervision for staff and students, fostering professional development.
  • Analyze and evaluate supervisee performance, completing probationary and annual evaluations.
  • Oversee orientation and training of new staff members, ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Work hybrid schedule with flexibility for remote and in-office days.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Implement OMH and other regulatory guidelines within the clinic program.
  • Provide direct social work services, including crisis intervention and counseling.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality assurance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise clinical staff and interns, providing advanced clinical guidance.
  • Evaluate staff performance and conduct probationary and annual reviews.

  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the clinic program.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required.
  • NYS licensure as LCSW or LCSW-R mandatory.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint essential.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Experience providing advanced clinical supervision to interns and staff.
