Accounts Payable Specialist

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Process accounts payable invoices, including direct-vouchered and purchase order-based AP vouchers.
• Support Senior Accountant with account analysis and financial reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures for financial operations.
• Utilize cloud-based ERP systems to streamline accounts payable processes.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve workflows.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements as required.
• Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the department.

Job Requirements

• Associate of Arts (AA) degree in a relevant field required.
• Minimum of five years of accounts payable experience; ten years preferred.
• Proficiency in modern cloud-based ERP systems; experience with Acumatica is a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction industry environments preferred.
• Familiarity with job-cost environments and related financial processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for account analysis tasks.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
