Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and ensure the safety, timeliness, and budgetary compliance of construction projects through effective team management.
• Establish and nurture productive relationships with clients and design professionals to support project execution.
• Create and maintain detailed construction project schedules.
• Engage in preconstruction processes such as estimating, value engineering, and reviewing constructability.
• Help in drafting and refining prime contracts, including defining terms, understanding insurance nuances, and crafting contract appendices.
• Coordinate the procurement of all subcontracts and purchase orders, delineating project scope and evaluating bids.
• Administer project documentation and ensure rigorous document control.
• Oversee the project closeout phase to ensure a smooth conclusion.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed under the direction of senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years of project management experience in the construction sector.
• Knowledge of LEED protocols is an advantage.
• Deep understanding of construction terminology, standard forms, contracting, and subcontracting procedures.
• High proficiency in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Capability to employ effective management techniques to maximize team performance.
• Solid grasp of industry and corporate practices and processes.
