Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Physician Substitute/Nurse Manager to lead our team fully on site at a plasma donation center. The ideal candidate will be a licensed RN or LPN with 7-10 years of clinical experience, including a strong background in management and team leadership. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our plasma donation processes, as well as fostering a positive and productive working environment for our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise and manage a team of 5 nurses, ensuring optimal performance and professional development.
- Clinical Oversight: Oversee all clinical operations within the plasma donation center, ensuring compliance with all health regulations and protocols.
- Donor Safety: Monitor donor safety throughout the donation process, handling any medical issues or emergencies with prompt and effective care.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in all procedures, maintaining rigorous adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to nursing staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Operational Efficiency: Collaborate with center management to streamline operations, improve workflow, and enhance the donor experience.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and thorough records of all clinical activities, donor interactions, and staff performance.
- Communication: Serve as the primary liaison between the nursing staff and upper management, ensuring clear and effective communication of goals, policies, and feedback.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience for LPN's, less is required for RN's. Experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Plasma Donation: Previous experience in a plasma donation center or similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with donors, staff, and management.
- Problem-Solving: Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly in high-pressure situations.
- Compassion and Empathy: A patient-centered approach with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support to donors.
