Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Manage architectural team members and assist in scheduling projects
- Develop and review conceptual and schematic design packages
- Modify and deliver relevant construction documents
- Assist in the production of design sketches, graphics, and construction details
- Create renderings, walk-throughs, and other presentation materials
- Research code and compliance policies and ensure the project is adhering to these policies
- Maintain knowledge of building materials, systems, and products
- Prepare responses to address construction-related questions, RFI’s, change orders, and field reports
- Prepare marketing material such as award submittals and presentations
- Communicate progress updates to Project Managers
- Participate in and take notes in client and team meetings
- Perform quality assurance activities when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a relevant field required
- At least five years of experience in the architecture or construction industry
- Understanding of building codes, systems, and zoning
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and other modeling software
- Knowledge of various product types and construction practices
- Basic understanding of all phases of architectural document production
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and manage a team of workers
