Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Recruiting Support: Manage the Careers inbox, create candidate profiles in viDesktop, and ensure all applications meet minimum requirements. Schedule and coordinate both in-person and virtual interviews, and oversee communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Interview and Event Coordination: Organize and facilitate logistics for onsite and external recruiting events, including attorney interviews and networking receptions. Provide onsite support for interviews and ensure all candidate interactions are handled with professionalism.
  • Candidate Communication: Draft and send out candidate correspondence including welcome emails, interview confirmations, and rejection letters. Maintain continuous and clear communication with candidates and internal teams.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with the onboarding of new hires by coordinating orientation schedules and supporting initial administrative requirements. Help manage the recruiting cycle calendar and maintain records of search firm agreements and candidate evaluations.
  • Human Resources Functions: Provide support for HR-related initiatives such as professional development and performance management processes. Assist in the preparation and execution of internal training and development events.
  • Project Management: Take on ad hoc recruiting and HR projects, providing back-up support to local admin teams as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in recruiting or HR, with a preference for experience in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong ability to learn and use new software platforms including viDesktop.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Effective communicator, capable of managing multiple priorities and working under tight deadlines.
