Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of educational sessions for the annual conference, including planning, execution, and post-event wrap-up.
- Coordinate logistics for various educational formats such as committee sessions, spotlight sessions, symposia, and interactive workshops.
- Serve as the primary liaison between speakers, attendees, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of logistical challenges.
- Oversee the invitation and confirmation process for all speakers and session chairs.
- Handle detailed scheduling and coordination of all event-related activities, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Maintain and update event-related data in the organization’s CRM system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility of information.
- Assist in the development and dissemination of event materials, including digital content, programs, and promotional materials.
- Provide onsite support during events, managing session logistics and addressing any immediate needs of speakers and participants.
- Support the ongoing evaluation of session content and speaker performance to ensure quality and relevance of educational offerings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; preference for degrees in Science, Education, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in event planning or project management, preferably within a healthcare, scientific, or academic setting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office; experience with Salesforce is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
