Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Perform tests and procedures following the laboratory’s approved policies
- Evaluate specimens and validity of test results
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of lab equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Notify supervisors of discrepancies and record corrective actions
- Review data prior to release
- Assist with the training of new employees
- Perform other lab-related tasks under the direction of the supervisor
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Laboratory Science
- One year of laboratory experience preferred
- State licensure required
- Proficient computer and problem-solving skills
