Job Title: Technical Architect

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in detailing, QA/QC, peer reviewing, reviewing submittals, and conducting site visits.
This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with licensure or active pursuit of licensure being essential. The Technical Architect will be responsible for both office-based design work and on-site project involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural designs and specifications for roofing and building envelope projects.
- Conduct quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) reviews to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Perform peer reviews of architectural plans and documents.
- Review and approve submittals from contractors and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design and consulting, with a focus on roofing and building envelopes.
- Licensure as an architect or actively working towards licensure.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices.
- Proficiency in architectural design software and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
