Job Description

Title: Litigation Administrative Assistant

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to four attorneys, ensuring smooth office operations
  • Organize and maintain case files, legal documents, and correspondence in both physical and electronic formats
  • Assist with scheduling, calendaring, and deadline tracking to support case management
  • Prepare and format legal documents, pleadings, and court filings in accordance with legal procedures
  • Utilize case management software to track case progress and update legal records (FileVine experience a plus)
  • Communicate with clients, court personnel, and external parties regarding case matters as needed
  • Perform general administrative duties, including data entry, document management, and office coordination

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal administrative experience, preferably in personal injury or medical malpractice law

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court filing procedures, and document management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with case management software (FileVine preferred)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment
