Nurse Educator

Responsibilities:

• Acts as a clinical coach for all new professional staff. 
• Functions as a resource and mentor for new professional staff. 
• Coordinates the implementation of the Infection.
• Control Program in order to meet agency goals and objectives and ensure that regulatory requirements are met.

Qualifications:

• Baccalaureate degree in nursing
• Three years of progressive job related experience
• Licensure and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
• Current CPR certification
• Prior experience as a preceptor/mentor preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point
• SigmaCare preferred
