Job Description

Title: Box Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee user and group management across large-scale Box enterprise environments
  • Maintain and enhance the file repository and workflow structure connected to Salesforce project lifecycle stages
  • Administer and configure Box modules including Governance, Shield, AI, Sign, and Hubs
  • Develop and implement security protocols, automation workflows, and permissions models to ensure data compliance and alignment with policy
  • Monitor usage patterns and lead remediation of improper storage or access configurations
  • Lead Box-related projects, including restructuring folders and automating provisioning processes
  • Coordinate with Identity and Access Management teams to ensure timely provisioning/deprovisioning and least-privilege access controls
  • Work with Box and internal stakeholders to develop documentation, user guidelines, and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support internal teams with ticket analysis and resolution
  • Participate in regularly scheduled maintenance windows (including occasional off-hours)

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Box administration in a complex enterprise setting
  • Deep knowledge of Box’s backend architecture and advanced modules such as Box Governance and Shield
  • Strong scripting and automation skills; ability to build and refine workflows
  • Proven experience managing enterprise file repositories and document access
  • Comfortable gathering and analyzing requirements across departments
  • Familiarity with Box integrations, especially with Salesforce or identity management systems
  • Ability to manage technical projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow is a plus but not required

  • Background in system architecture, IT security, or access controls
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
