Job Description

Title: Medical Back Office Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Respond to a high volume of incoming calls from patients, caregivers, and clinical teams
  • Conduct outbound calls to follow up on missed appointments or deliver key visit reminders
  • Complete patient registration and verify/update insurance details ahead of visits
  • Track patient consents and maintain up-to-date documentation in internal systems
  • Request and manage medical record retrieval for established members
  • Process care plans, visit summaries, and educational material mailings
  • Accurately log all patient interactions and administrative updates in the system
  • Support special projects or back-office initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant administrative or healthcare-related experience
  • Strong data entry and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Comfortable navigating EMRs and updating patient files
  • Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced virtual environment
  • High-speed internet connection meeting remote work standards (3.8 Mbps down / 3.0 Mbps up, <60ms latency)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build rapport
  • Bilingual Spanish fluency highly preferred
