Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Compliance Professional to join our team in the financial services sector. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements related to bank secrecy act (BSA), anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and enhanced due diligence (EDD). The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess compliance with AML regulations and internal policies.
  • Responsible for oversight of the BSA-AML/CFT & OFAC Compliance Department.
  • Conduct KYC checks and maintain accurate customer records.
  • Implement and administer all aspects of the department, including CIP, monitoring EDD reviews and OFAC compliance
  • Manage and review all regulatory reporting, including CTRs, SARs, Section 314(a), and 314(b).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of compliance.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions on compliance topics.
  • Supervise a team of 6 within the BSA department.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Team Lead/ Management oversight experience
  • Proven experience in compliance within the financial services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, and EDD regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CAMS, CFE) are a plus.
