Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial real estate development projects across multiple asset types, including retail, industrial, and hospitality. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record of managing construction projects from pre-development through completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of construction projects from planning through completion.
  • Collaborate with internal development, legal, leasing, and design teams.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and local municipalities.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining company standards.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and pay applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management; experience with retail or mixed-use development preferred.
  • Proficiency with construction project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam).
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel to project sites as needed.
