Job Description

Title: Legal Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned attorneys, including email management and client communication
  • Manage attorney calendars for meetings, calls, events, and both domestic and international travel
  • Coordinate travel logistics and prepare related itineraries and documentation
  • Draft, revise, and finalize legal documents; manage execution and filing of documents both digitally and physically
  • Process time entries and assist with client billing; send invoices and follow up as needed
  • Submit attorney expense reports and process client-related invoices for timely payment
  • Interact with clients and internal staff via phone, email, and in-person; uphold a high level of service in all communications
  • Assist in the creation and processing of client engagement letters, agreements, and other supporting documents
  • Support other administrative duties as needed across the team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm, preferably with exposure to entertainment or intellectual property law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required; prior use of Aderant and ChromeRiver is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail; able to meet deadlines and juggle competing priorities
  • Discreet and professional; must be comfortable handling confidential materials
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented, and capable of working both independently and as part of a close-knit team
