Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- Guide teams in designing, building, testing, and deploying changes to existing software
- Enhance company’s IT infrastructure security protocols – identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
- Identify manual processes that can be automated
- Consider the organization’s entire IT infrastructure when making changes and improvements
- Maintain and improve the company’s cloud infrastructure
- Understand requirements and project KPIs
- Define and set development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
- Review, verify, and validate software code developed in a project
- Troubleshoot and fix code bugs
- Select and deploy appropriate CI/CD tools
- Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
- Manage progress reporting for management and stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Proficient with git and git workflows
- Good knowledge of Ruby or Python
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude
- Collaborative team spirit
