Job Description
Our client is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Account Executive to join their go-to-market team. This role will focus on closing new business in various segments, helping to drive revenue during a critical growth phase. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with previous experience in B2B sales—ideally in FinTech or at a financial services fund or firm—and is based in or willing to relocate to Austin or NYC.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to product demos, negotiation, and close
- Manage a pipeline of qualified inbound and outbound opportunities using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Understand client pain points and position tailored solutions that address financial and operational challenges
- Collaborate with marketing and sales development to optimize messaging and lead conversion
- Work closely with product and onboarding teams to ensure a smooth handoff and long-term customer success
- Track performance metrics, forecast revenue, and report regularly to sales leadership
- Represent the brand in the local FinTech, startup, and SMB communities in Austin or NYC
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in FinTech or financial services
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving priorities and fast decision cycles
- Based in Austin, TX or New York, NY
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with capital markets, private credit, and debt funds
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
