Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients on the inpatient unit, including both ICU and medical-surgical patients.
- Serve as the primary RN for patients in a rural Critical Access Hospital, exercising autonomy and clinical judgment.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses to develop and execute patient care plans.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
- Educate patients and families to support ongoing care and recovery.
- Embrace a team-oriented approach that prioritizes whole-person care in a high-acuity, low-volume environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
- Unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or eligible for reciprocity).
- Current BLS certification (may be obtained upon hire).
- PALS certification.
- Minimum of 1 year RN experience, preferably in acute or critical care settings.
- Ability to provide independent, professional nursing care in a rural hospital setting.
