Job Title: ICU/Med-Surg RN

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients on the inpatient unit, including both ICU and medical-surgical patients.
  • Serve as the primary RN for patients in a rural Critical Access Hospital, exercising autonomy and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and fellow nurses to develop and execute patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  • Educate patients and families to support ongoing care and recovery.
  • Embrace a team-oriented approach that prioritizes whole-person care in a high-acuity, low-volume environment.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
  • Unrestricted RN license in Colorado (or eligible for reciprocity).
  • Current BLS certification (may be obtained upon hire).
  • PALS certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year RN experience, preferably in acute or critical care settings.
  • Ability to provide independent, professional nursing care in a rural hospital setting.
