We are seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Nurse Educator to guide and support newly graduated nurses as they transition into their professional roles. This position is modeled after the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) role, emphasizing clinical leadership, evidence-based practice, and system-level improvements. While offering flexible scheduling, the primary focus will be on supporting new nurses during evening and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentorship & Support: Provide hands-on mentorship to new graduate nurses, fostering their clinical skills and confidence.
• Flexible Scheduling: Design a schedule that aligns with your availability, with an emphasis on evening and night shifts to meet the needs of new nurses.
• Collaborative Environment: Work closely with nursing leadership and education specialists to enhance the onboarding experience for new staff, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

Required Credentials:

• Current RN license with Medical-Surg experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Willingness to obtain a specialty certification (e.g., CMSRN) or a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
• A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and fostering the growth of novice nurses.
