Job Description

🌟 Hospital Director of Quality, Risk & Compliance in ⛰️ Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. 🌄 

Are you a strategic healthcare leader passionate about advancing safety, compliance, and performance? We’re seeking a Director of Quality, Risk & Compliance to lead essential programs in a 340+ bed acute care hospital located in the scenic heart of WV!

🏥 What You’ll Lead

  • Facility-wide quality & performance improvement initiatives 📈
  • Comprehensive risk management and patient safety oversight
  • Regulatory & accreditation readiness (CMS, Joint Commission, state) 📋
  • Ethics & compliance program leadership 🤝
  • Medical Staff Office functions, including credentialing support
  • Physician and APP quality scorecard development 📊

You’ll also serve as the facility’s Patient Safety Officer and Ethics & Compliance Officer, reporting directly to the CEO.

🎯 Ideal Candidate

  • Acute care experience (clinical or administrative)
  • Proven success with Six Sigma, CMS/TJC standards, and internal audits
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative leadership style
  • Passion for ethical practice and organizational accountability

🎓 Ideal/Preferred Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred 🎓
  • 5+ years in healthcare, including 2+ in risk/compliance leadership
  • Current license in a healthcare profession required; RNs preferred.
  • CPHRM, CPHQ and/or CPPS preferred (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
