Your Leadership Impact as Director of Admissions

This leadership role combines strategic revenue cycle management with hands-on operational oversight. You'll drive the front-end processes that enhance hospital revenue, ensure clean registration data, and create patient-friendly experiences while managing a dedicated team of admissions professionals.

Strategic Responsibilities:

• Oversee comprehensive revenue cycle operations from patient registration through collections
• Lead charge management, patient accounts management, and billing processes
• Drive clean and thorough registration practices across all service lines
• Manage auditing, charge reconciliation, and error correction processes
• Coordinate contract review and denials management initiatives
• Implement patient and physician-friendly process improvements

Operational Leadership:

• Monitor and evaluate staff performance across all admitting functions
• Develop and mentor patient access team members
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
• Lead problem identification, resolution, and staff education initiatives
• Drive month-end and year-end process completion
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments for seamless operations

What This Role Requires

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 8 years experience in Patient Access/Admissions and hospital billing/collections
• Acute care hospital or similar healthcare setting experience required
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in related fields (acute care preferred)
• Bachelor's degree required
