Job Description
Title: Senior Accountant
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and U.S. GAAP where applicable
- Support monthly close activities, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
- Contribute to internal and external financial reporting processes, including reporting to international parent company
- Analyze project costs and support ongoing monitoring of key financial indicators
- Help manage day-to-day functions in accounts payable and receivables, including timely vendor invoicing and client billing
- Collaborate with the accounting team on process improvements and cash management tracking
- Assist with internal audits and ensure appropriate internal controls are being followed
- Generate ad hoc financial reports and provide analysis to management as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
- 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally within an industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environment
- Proficiency with SAP (R/3 or S/4HANA) is required
- Working knowledge of IFRS standards and reporting requirements
- Strong Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with financial analysis and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
