Job Description

Our client is a growing and well-established civil engineering firm that is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Civil Site Engineer to join their team. This role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in site/civil design and the ability to lead projects from concept through construction. The firm works closely with public and private sector clients across infrastructure, transportation, site development, and municipal projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage civil/site engineering projects including grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and roadway improvements
  • Prepare construction documents, reports, and technical specifications
  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with clients, agencies, and contractors
  • Perform permitting and regulatory submissions at the local, state, and federal levels
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and quality review
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, surveyors, and CAD technicians

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required); PE license (preferred or in progress)
  • 5–15 years of experience in civil/site design and engineering
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software
  • Strong understanding of local codes, permitting, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with public works or municipal projects is a plus
