We’re searching for a passionate and experienced nurse leader to join a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit as the Night Shift Nurse Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented clinical team in one of Houston’s most respected women’s care environments, where more than 800 babies are delivered every month.

This manager will oversee overnight operations in a fast-paced, high-acuity L&D setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team that supports everything from natural births to high-risk maternal care. You’ll play a vital role in coaching staff, improving workflows, and delivering excellent outcomes for patients and families during one of life’s most important moments.

👶 What You’ll Do

Lead and support clinical staff during the night shift (11 PM–7 AM, Sun–Thurs)

Collaborate on care delivery, patient flow, and performance improvement

Partner with leadership to manage budgets, staffing, and quality initiatives

Mentor team members to strengthen clinical competence and foster growth

Serve as a subject-matter resource in labor, delivery, and postpartum care

📋 Qualifications

RN license in Texas (or compact-eligible)

BCLS required; ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required

At least 3 years of L&D clinical experience with leadership exposure

Strong communication, critical thinking, and team management skills
