A stellar hospital in dynamic Kansas is actively looking for an experienced Critical Care Nurse Manager to join their leadership team.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Nurse Director of Critical Care, the Critical Care Nurse Manager will be the primary unit leader with clinical and administrative oversight of this active 26-bed unit. Key responsibilities include:

·        Oversee daily operations including improving throughput and workflow efficiencies

·        Manage, schedule, and mentor a team of 50 FTEs including Charge Nurses, Registered Nurses, LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians

·        Ensure regulatory compliance and survey readiness

·        Monitor and maintain supply inventory within departmental budget guidelines

·        Implement and manage process improvement and workflow initiatives

·        Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and hospital departments to support patient care

·        Lead training and professional development activities

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal Critical Care Nurse Manager will possess:

• Licensed Registered Nurse
• At least 3 years of critical care nursing experience
• Previous clinical leadership experience
