Our Special Projects Division focuses on fast-paced, service-oriented construction projects that require agility, client responsiveness, and technical know-how. We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to join this growing team.
Position Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing small to mid-size commercial service and maintenance projects from initial client contact through final completion. This role involves estimating, client interaction, project planning, and subcontractor coordination. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-moving environment with multiple ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to assess project scope and develop solutions tailored to service/maintenance needs.
- Estimate costs, prepare proposals, and assist in securing project approvals.
- Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and in-house staff to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction; service or special projects experience preferred.
- Proven ability to estimate small to mid-size commercial projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with project management software, MS Office Suite; experience with estimating software a plus.
