⚙️ The Role You’ll Lead

As Nurse Manager of Outpatient Surgery, you’ll oversee the day-to-day clinical and operational performance of the outpatient surgical unit, ensuring efficient care delivery and exceptional outcomes. This role plays a vital part in advancing surgical best practices, performance improvement, and patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities include:

24/7 accountability for outpatient surgery unit operations and nursing performance

Oversight of staff assignments, scheduling, and patient flow

Collaboration with hospital leadership and the surgical director on performance improvement initiatives

Support for compliance with regulatory standards, financial goals, and quality benchmarks

Coaching and mentoring staff, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence

✅ Qualifications We’re Seeking

🏥 2+ years of acute care leadership in surgical services

💼 3–5 years of experience as a staff RN in the OR or surgical setting

🎓 Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required

💡 Prior management experience preferred or strong leadership potential

❤️ BLS certification required

⚕️ ACLS and PALS required (or obtained within 6 months of hire)

📋 Texas RN license or Compact State License required

❤️ Cardiovascular experience a plus
