Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Pulmonologist to serve as a Part-Time Medical Monitor for an ongoing clinical trial. This consulting role will provide medical oversight and serve as an additional layer of supervision to the CRO medical monitor.

Key Details:

  • Duration: 12+ months
  • Time Commitment: ~15 hours per week
  • Therapeutic Area: Pulmonary

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing medical monitoring and oversight for the assigned clinical trial.
  • Review safety data, study conduct, and medical queries.
  • Collaborate with internal clinical teams and serve as a liaison with the CRO to ensure appropriate medical oversight.
  • Offer expert pulmonary input into safety assessments, protocol adherence, and clinical data reviews.
  • Provide guidance to address complex medical questions escalated by the CRO.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified Pulmonologist (MD or DO).
  • Prior experience as a medical monitor or clinical trial physician strongly preferred.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with a CRO partner, even in challenging or complex situations.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to clinical trial integrity and patient safety.
