AD of Biostatistics (Flexible on Level) – Remote

This role involves overseeing management and project activities within the Biostatistics department. You'll collaborate with Biostatistics and Statistical Programming management to establish SOPs, ensuring standardized procedures and maximizing department efficiency.

Key responsibilities include staff management, performance evaluations, and training. You'll assign projects to Biostatisticians, ensuring optimal utilization and skill development. Prioritizing activities and resolving project conflicts to maintain department effectiveness is crucial. You'll also support staff development for succession planning, set and review goals, and provide performance feedback. Additionally, you'll assist in solving technical problems, contribute to business development, and maintain knowledge of clinical drug development and regulatory guidelines. Conducting senior reviews of project deliverables and mentoring staff are also essential. Minimal travel may be required (up to 25%).

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Biostatistics or a related field.
• Extensive clinical trials experience.
• Knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines.
• Management experience and effective communication skills are preferred.
