An established hospital in Panama City is seeking an experienced Director of Med/Surg to lead a recently renovated 42-bed medical-surgical unit. With oversight of 57 FTEs—including a supportive leadership team of a Manager and 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators—this is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-functioning, engaged unit and make a meaningful impact.

🏥 About the Facility:

This 282-bed hospital includes two freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs) and serves as the only delivery facility in Bay County, supporting a robust women’s and children’s service line. It’s recognized as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center with primary PCI and resuscitation. It also houses the region’s only Pediatric ER, Level III NICU, and PICU—making it the area's most comprehensive acute care provider.
