An established regional hospital in Panama City is hiring a Med/Surg Nurse Manager to help lead a newly renovated, 42-bed unit. Working alongside the Director and 4 Clinical Nurse Coordinators (CNCs), this role offers a hands-on leadership opportunity in a high-acuity, high-impact department that serves as the backbone of inpatient care.

🏥 About the Facility:

This 282-bed hospital includes two freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs) and is the only delivery facility in Bay County, supporting a robust women’s and children’s service line. It’s a designated Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Breast Care Center, and Accredited Chest Pain Center with primary PCI. With the only Pediatric ER, Level III NICU, and PICU in the region, it provides unmatched care to the community.

👥 About the Unit:

You’ll help oversee 57 FTEs (including RNs, LPNs, and PCTs) on a standard Med/Surg unit with a mix of experienced team members and enthusiastic new grads. The unit is known for its high engagement and strong culture—and leadership is looking for someone who is passionate about team building, clinical excellence, and staff development.
