Position Summary:
We’re hiring a Traveling Superintendent with experience in ground-up and/or light industrial projects to lead field operations on high-profile jobs across the country. You'll be the key site leader, managing subcontractors, schedules, and safety while ensuring quality execution and client satisfaction from mobilization to close-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards
- Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, site logistics, and inspections
- Maintain a strong jobsite presence and enforce safety and quality control programs
- Communicate daily with Project Managers, clients, and vendors to keep everyone aligned
- Review and interpret drawings, schedules, and scopes of work
- Monitor site progress and adjust plans as needed to meet milestones and deadlines
- Facilitate project start-up and close-out, including punch list and turnover
- Travel to project sites and stay for the duration of the job (lodging and per diem provided)
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in ground-up or light industrial construction
- Proven ability to manage field operations on multi-million dollar projects
- Strong understanding of construction documents, logistics, sequencing, and safety protocols
- Experience with big-box, distribution, or retail projects is a plus
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and other construction technology
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Willingness to travel and lead projects outside of home base
