Division Vice President – Nursing Informatics

We’re partnering with a prominent healthcare system in the DFW region to identify a transformational Division VP of Nursing Informatics to lead strategy, optimization, and innovation across a robust acute care network. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Lead the division’s clinical informatics strategy and serve as an executive sponsor for nursing and interdisciplinary IT initiatives

Design and implement optimized workflows that align with best practices, regulatory requirements, and system goals

Guide Meditech system enhancements and training across nursing, ancillary, and support teams

Use data and performance analytics to drive decisions and monitor the impact of informatics initiatives

Build collaborative relationships across hospital operations, IT, clinical teams, and administrative leadership

Ensure strategic alignment with “Meaningful Use,” EHR compliance, and federal/state program standards

Serve as a resource and mentor to facility leaders, reinforcing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement

✅ Qualifications

Texas RN license required

Master’s degree required (Health Informatics, Nursing, or Business Administration)

National certification in nursing informatics preferred (required within 6 months of hire)

Minimum 5+ years of acute care nursing informatics leadership experience

Strong track record managing large-scale implementations and cross-functional projects

Advanced proficiency in Meditech and other clinical systems

Exceptional analytical, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
