Senior Analyst/Manager of Pricing and Data Analytics 

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation of matter budgeting software and collaborate with the legal team to create and maintain matter budgets, including setting threshold alerts.
• Assist legal and business development teams with pricing requests and conduct market analyses to ensure competitive positioning among peer firms.
• Manage the annual firmwide rate-setting process by performing internal and market analyses, aligning with finance leadership on proposed changes, and presenting findings to senior leadership for final approval.
• Work closely with the rates and pricing specialist to manage the reporting and analysis of rate information, discounts, and other relevant pricing data.
• Support internal and client-facing colleagues with ad-hoc data requests and develop financial dashboards and reports as needed.
• Lead data improvement initiatives with the 3E system.
• Collaborate with IT to migrate financial reports from Excel, PowerPoint, and SSRS to Power BI, and assist in designing new dashboards.
• Ensure data accuracy by validating information across different systems.
• Partner with the firm's financial and operational leadership on special projects.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Proficiency with SQL (REQUIRED), Elite 3E or Aderant, Excel (Advanced), and PowerPoint preferred.
• Proficiency with SSRS and Power BI reporting platforms preferred.
• Experience in the legal industry preferred.
• Proven experience in gathering, organizing, and manipulating large data sets.
• Strong analytical, evaluative, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Curiosity and initiative to investigate unusual data trends.
• Highly organized with excellent data management skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, and multi-dimensional environment.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within teams, with minimal supervision.
