Overview

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage the full billing lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client policies.
- Monitor accounts receivable and coordinate collections to resolve payment discrepancies.
- Handle intricate billing requirements, including client-specific requests and write-offs.
- Oversee electronic billing submissions and resolve rejections promptly.
- Collaborate with attorneys and clients to discuss billing strategies and address inquiries.
- Provide professional support to strengthen client and attorney relationships.
- Ensure compliance with billing guidelines and optimize cash flow processes.
- Support the financial health of the firm through effective billing management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of billing experience, ideally in a law firm or professional services setting.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with Elite 3E or similar systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to ensure billing accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration with attorneys, clients, and finance teams.
- Adaptability and proactive problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with eBilling systems like eBillingHub or similar is advantageous.
