Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic law firm as a Learning and Development Specialist, advancing professional growth for legal and business professionals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement impactful training programs and initiatives.
  • Contribute to firmwide CLE programs, ensuring compliance and maintaining attorney records.
  • Develop engaging content, including workshops, eLearning modules, and onboarding materials.
  • Analyze feedback and learning data to assess program effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Support internal communications about learning opportunities and resources for employees and attorneys.
  • Hybrid work arrangement with occasional travel to attend training events and workshops.
  • Opportunity to work in any of the client’s U.S. office locations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Collaborate with Legal Training and Employee Talent Development teams to create tailored learning initiatives.
  • Design and develop training materials for diverse audiences, including attorneys and business professionals.
  • Manage project timelines and instructional design for training programs and workshops.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback and learning data analysis.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts and department leaders to align learning goals.
  • Support CLE programs by reviewing materials, tracking attendance, and maintaining compliance records.
  • Stay updated on best practices in adult learning theory and professional services development trends.
  • Assist in establishing learning paths for leaders and individual contributors across the firm.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a learning and development role within a law firm or professional services environment.
  • Proven skills in designing, developing, and evaluating training programs and materials.
  • Strong project management abilities to handle concurrent initiatives and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills for effective collaboration and content creation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with learning technologies.
  • Knowledge of CLE program requirements is highly preferred.
  • Occasional travel required for attending training events and live workshops.
