Overview

  • Lead the Cardiac Cath Lab nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and administrators to develop and implement effective nursing strategies.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and ensure consistent application of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and development.
  • Oversee the performance of teams, addressing training and development needs proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards within the department.
  • Support the delivery of safe and efficient quality nursing care to patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and operational management of the Cardiac Cath Lab.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage nursing services and staff within the Cardiac Cath Lab department.
  • Implement programs to ensure safe and efficient delivery of nursing care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and effectiveness of nursing care.
  • Ensure consistent application of nursing policies and standards throughout the department.
  • Identify and address staff training and development needs to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with medical staff and administrators on nursing strategies and service improvements.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing teams, fostering a culture of excellence.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting.
  • At least 2 years of healthcare leadership experience preferred.
  • Active RN License in the state of employment or compact state.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
