Job Description

Overview

  • Lead tax management operations, including corporate, partnership, and high-net-worth tax reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
  • Provide strategic tax support to portfolio companies and internal finance groups.
  • Manage relationships with external tax advisors and oversee outsourced tax functions.
  • Contribute to accounting tasks and financial reporting processes as needed.
  • Work closely with the CFO to align tax strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and standards.
  • Support the development and execution of tax-related policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee tax reporting for corporate legal entities and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Manage tax compliance for portfolio companies and internal operations.
  • Coordinate with external tax vendors to ensure adherence to timelines and trackers.
  • Provide strategic tax guidance to finance groups and portfolio companies.
  • Monitor and manage outsourced fund administration and audit/tax services.
  • Support the CFO in implementing tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and standards across all operations.
  • Contribute to accounting and financial reporting tasks as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate tax management; 10 years preferred.
  • CPA certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in partnership and high-net-worth tax compliance.
  • Experience managing external tax vendors and outsourced tax functions.
  • Proficiency in tax reporting and compliance for corporate entities.
  • Ability to provide strategic tax guidance to finance teams and portfolio companies.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
