Job Description

Overview

  • Lead sales activities for clinical and hemodialysis products in a multi-state territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with healthcare facilities and industry contacts to drive sales opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase technical features and benefits to potential customers.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage sales activities, track leads, and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to align sales goals with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and conferences to promote products and services effectively.
  • Provide ongoing consulting and support to customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and business growth.
  • Travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend events as required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and execute business plans to identify and target specific accounts within the territory.
  • Contact and engage potential customers to demonstrate products and solicit orders effectively.
  • Research customer needs to recommend suitable products and services tailored to their requirements.
  • Follow up on leads and referrals promptly, ensuring consistent communication and engagement.
  • Monitor and manage sales expenses to align with budgetary guidelines.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and assist in implementing promotional strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including calls, presentations, and closed deals.
  • Provide feedback to management regarding market trends and customer needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices or clinical equipment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical protocols and operating room procedures is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building customer relationships.
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, including overnight stays.
