Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Oversee fund accounting operations, including preparation of financial statements and investor reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in all accounting practices.
• Manage property-level accounting using Yardi software, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze fund performance metrics and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with investment teams to support fund strategies and financial planning.
• Develop and implement process improvements for efficient fund management.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering professional development and expertise.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting, with 10 years preferred.
• Proficiency in Yardi software and property-level accounting practices.
• Strong knowledge of private equity real estate fund operations and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Manager-level expertise in overseeing accounting processes and mentoring staff.
