Job Description

Overview

  • Join a dynamic team as an Environmental Monitoring Associate, ensuring quality control in a regulated environment.
  • Perform critical environmental monitoring tasks to maintain aseptic conditions and compliance standards.
  • Contribute to maintaining GMP compliance and safety in laboratory operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Engage in hands-on laboratory activities, including microbial enumeration and equipment preparation.
  • Document tasks meticulously using LIMS and GDP principles for accurate record-keeping.
  • Participate actively in laboratory meetings and contribute to task management tools.
  • Maintain training and qualifications to ensure proficiency in required tasks.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct environmental monitoring of aseptic environments and controlled areas following SOPs and GMP guidelines.
  • Incubate and enumerate microbial growth on environmental monitoring plates accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols during all laboratory tasks.
  • Document laboratory activities in LIMS and paper records adhering to GDP principles.
  • Collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and facilities teams to support GMP processes.
  • Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to effective communication and task management.
  • Perform general laboratory tasks, including cleaning and equipment preparation.
  • Assist in laboratory investigations with limited scope as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent education and experience required.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills essential.
  • Proficiency in basic math and computer skills, including data entry.
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize time independently and meet objectives.
  • Must maintain aseptic qualifications and adhere to GMP standards.
  • Experience with laboratory documentation and compliance processes preferred.
