Overview
- The Estimator role involves managing project estimation processes for a growing construction company.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in estimation.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials and labor.
- Analyze project specifications and collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities in project estimates.
- Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with estimates.
- Provide support in contract negotiations and bid submissions.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure successful project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends and pricing to enhance estimation accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimation; 7 years preferred.
- Proven ability to secure large-scale construction projects effectively.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
- Experience with site work and new build projects is advantageous.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools is beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate with field teams effectively.
