Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, corporate, partnership, and multistate tax returns.
- Conduct tax planning, compliance, and research to identify risk management solutions.
- Monitor team tasks, ensuring clarity and timely completion of assignments.
- Coordinate day-to-day planning and execution of tax-related duties.
- Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Supervise, train, and mentor tax staff to enhance team performance.
- Review financial statements and tax procedures independently.
- Utilize tax software and tools to streamline processes and ensure accuracy.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
- CPA certification is mandatory for this role.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a CPA firm is preferred.
- Proficiency in UltraTax CS, Checkpoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in coaching and mentoring teams.
