Job Description

Overview

  • Lead financial transactions and accounting activities ensuring governance, risk management, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain detailed expense forecasts and insightful management reports.
  • Collaborate with department heads and project managers to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Oversee consolidated management company audits and prepare quarterly financial statements.
  • Become a subject matter expert in global financial activities and US GAAP compliance.
  • Manage and develop staff, fostering a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
  • Ensure accuracy in internal and external reporting adhering to publication schedules.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Handle monthly quick closes, month-end reporting, and headcount reporting.
  • Prepare detailed expense forecasts and entry rate estimates monthly.
  • Analyze data at a detailed level and synthesize results for senior management.
  • Develop relationships with department heads to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Lead annual consolidated audits and prepare financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and global financial standards.
  • Manage staff development and ensure team collaboration.
  • Oversee publication schedules for financial reporting.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required; active CPA designation mandatory.
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in public accounting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, fostering collaboration and transparency.
  • Expertise in financial modeling and dynamic model creation.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; proficiency in SQL and Workday is a plus.
  • Knowledge of foreign currency accounting and reporting is advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication skills for conveying complex concepts clearly.
  • Experience with international workforce culture is beneficial.
