Overview

  • Craft compelling grant proposals and reports to secure funding for impactful initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership and program directors to develop persuasive cases for support.
  • Research funding opportunities and build relationships with funders to expand financial support.
  • Utilize data and storytelling to demonstrate organizational impact effectively.
  • Support organizational compliance through mandatory training and adherence to policies.
  • Manage grant submission processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Engage with program officers and funders to foster partnerships and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and write grant proposals, budgets, and reports for diverse funding sources.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to translate program data into compelling narratives.
  • Research and identify new funding opportunities to support organizational goals.
  • Track deadlines and submissions using grant management systems.
  • Attend relevant conferences and sessions to represent the organization.
  • Engage with funders to explore partnership opportunities and secure funding.
  • Draft routine correspondence, including cover letters and acknowledgements.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from a four-year college.
  • Minimum of five years of grant writing experience with proven success.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in translating data into persuasive narratives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
  • Comfort engaging with funders and program officers professionally.
  • Experience with grant management systems and tracking tools.
